It honestly went from wholesome things like trying to learn nen for comedic purposes to everyone sexualizing minors (?). It was one of the first mangas I ever read so this really hurt me. It used to be so chill as it was an older anime with older viewers. The Hunter x Hunter community was also wrecked. They ruined SOOOOOO many anime openings and just good Japanese songs to start with. The Haikyuu viewers on tiktok also emphasize the unrealistic fanon things we make these characters out to be. It seems good, but it reels in toxic viewers that can give the show a bad reputation, like in the My Hero Academia fandom. For example in the haikyuu fandom on tiktok, they associate anything remotely related to volleyball with this anime. They overuse so many jokes and prove stereotypes to be true.
